Tree Planting- Gifford Park Neighborhood

This Spring—The Urban Nature Alliance and the Arbor Day Foundation are hosting another tree planting event to sustain the tree canopy in Gifford Park neighborhood on Saturday, June 1st between 8:30 am to noon.  We want to green and shade the right of ways and will even plant fruit trees for food sourcing in the area.  Of course improving air quality is a goal of ours as well. 

The neighborhood sits from 38th to 30th Street between Dodge and Cumming Street. All holes will be predug as always for ease of volunteer labor.
