Last week Bob Fell gave the invocation.   We had record virtual attendance with almost 70 members participating.  Suzan Rohrig introduced Matt McKeever who gave a fantastic presentation on the history of Omaha West Rotary.  

 

 

 

 

Last week Ken Thomason introduced us to new member Candy Specht. Candy is a State Farm agent who took over for a retiring agent May 1^st 2019.  Her agency is located at 144^th & Blondo (right by the Railcar restaurant).  She lives in Wahoo, NE.  Her husband is a chemistry teacher at Elkhorn South High School.  They have two sons, ages 13 and 17. 

 

Candy has been in the insurance and investment business since 2007 when she started working as an agent with the Horace Mann Companies. 

She spent 6 years as a Teammates mentor and was president of the Saunders County Teammates Chapter for 4 years. 

Hobbies include golf, water sports and family time.  Welcome, Candy!

Last week Ric Miller and Dan Lassek kicked off our fundaiser to support our community by donation to the Food Bank for the Heartland.  We are asking those who are able to consider a donation in any amount to support this effort.
