All 3 of the Rotary-sponsored blood drives completely filled. Thanks to all who volunteered to both organize and donate.
- Three drives over 12 days
- Of 140 donor opportunities, we had 135 potential donors come to our sites
- And 45% of those 135 potential donors were 1st time donors (at least on Red Cross system)
- 123 units of blood were collected, which by Red Cross’s calculations has the potential to save 369 lives
And a big thank you to Westwood Church, DJ’s Dugout and Charlie’s on the Lake for graciously opening their spaces for the blood drives. Using the restaurants was unique.
