Welcome Jodee DuRee!
Last week Jill Slupe introduced us to new member, Jody DuRee.  You may recognize her from Standard Heating and Air’s TV commercials.  Jody is more than the face of the company, she is CEO of a $23M, 160 employee company where she started as an account executive and has grown it for 29 years.
Jody will be a great Rotarian as her servant leadership style is in line with Rotary’s values.  She serves on local and national industry boards, is a wife, and grandmother to three amazing grandsons and hits a little over par on the golf course. Welcome, Jody!
Welcome Joey Gazda!
Last week Warren Whitted III introduced us to new member, Joey Gazda.

Joey was born and raised in Elkhorn, NE where most of his family currently resides.  He attended UNL and graduated in 4 years. Joey worked on political campaigns for a few years.  After campaigns, he worked at InfoUSA/Infogroup starting as an Account Representative then rising to Manager.  Finally, after a nonvoluntary paid sabbatical, Joey came to Mutual of Omaha as a Financial Advisor.

He currently lives in West Omaha with my wife Megan, 3 children, Brynn, Brooklyn, and Hadley.  Joey enjoy sports, anything children- related, and the Buffalo Bills.  Welcome Joey!

Annual Holiday Luncheon
Please make plans to join us next week at Embassy Suites for our Annual Holiday Luncheon. It will be a fun day with some festive music by our West Rotary Trio (come and see who it is :) and games, and a White Elephant Gift Exchange.  If you'd like to participate in the gift exchange bring a wrapped gift for $15 or less.  It can be funny- but please make sure it's appropriate.  This is a great meeting to invite your spouse, significant other, or a friend to see how fun West Rotary can be.
Mitten Tree Collection
Each year we collect donations to go to the most urgent needs of families at our Adopt-A- School partner, Skinner Magnet School.  Past collections have gone towards warm clothing, utilities, groceries, and gas.   You can drop off check or cash at any of our next 3 meetings or give online by CLICKING HERE.  Thank you for your generosity!
Staff Tips
We are collecting cash at this week's meeting (thanks to those who gave last week!) for tips for the hardworking staff at Embassy.   The folks there have often been doing double or even triple duty during the last year with the struggles to hire.  Please consider bringing cash this week or if you would like to donate online, CLICK HERE.
Slate of Officers
Last week Dwayne Brown announced the Slate of Officers as selected by the Nominating Committee. This Slate will be voted on at the January Club Assembly.
