At last week's inaugural meeting of the Omaha West Rotary After Hours, Jennifer Jirak-Brungardt introduced new member Jody-Ann Coore. Jody-Ann is the founder and CEO of Coore Solutions offering services to build the trauma-informed ecosystem in the education and social services sectors. She is a native of Jamaica and has called Omaha home since 2008. Jody-Ann is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha earning her undergraduate degree in psychology and her master’s in public administration. She is passionate about disadvantaged individuals and communities. She is the mother of a 6-years-old strong-willed son, and guardian to her youngest sibling. Jody-Ann enjoys kayaking, an odd mix of music, bowling, binge watching tv, road trips (within a certain range) and poorly performing karaoke. She is pleased to be part of Rotary, and particularly Omaha West, continuing her work of service above self. Welcome, Jody-Ann! |
