Last week Lindsey Vande Hoef introduced us to Warren Ford III. Warren is a Partner at Goosmann Law Firm, where he leads the firms Banking, Bankruptcy, and Financial Services Litigation Group. He is also a part of the firms Transactional Group and leads the firm Corporate Maintenance Program. Warren is a litigation and transactional attorney who represents creditors, banks and business leaders in civil and commercial litigation, out-of-court workouts, and chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings.. He also routinely assists clients with complex business transactions and asset acquisitions. He obtained his J.D from the University of Nebraska College of Law and his BA in Political Science from Creighton. Warren was named in the 2021, 2022, and 2023 The Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” lists for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law. He also was named as a 2022 and 2023 Super Lawyers Rising Star. In December 2022 he was selected as an American Bankruptcy Institute (“ABI”) 40 under 40 honoree. Warren serves on several professional committees is a member of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms. Volunteering is very important to Warren. Over the years he has volunteered with such organizations as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, the Nebraska Volunteer Lawyer Project, Together, Inc., Siena Francis House of Omaha, and Special Olympics Nebraska. He recently completed the Ambassador Program for the Omaha Municipal Landbank, where he advocated for the transformation of distressed properties into community assets, such as low-income housing and community gardens. Outside of work and volunteering, Warren enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with his wife and spending time with his two boys. Warren and his wife are proud Westside High School alumni, and their boys are currently enrolled at Westside Community Schools. Welcome, Warren! |
