Last Week at Rotary

Last week John Kugler gave the invocation. John Kugler and Dan Lassek served as Greeters. Butch Ethington was Cashier and Deirdre Milobar was Sgt. at Arms. We had several announcements and presentations and a vocational talk from John Kugler as well. Joe Finnegan recognized Sybil Olson for her donations to our Foundation to support RYLA students. Lori Benton talked to us about the plans for the RYLA camp this year. Josephine Parker, who attended RYLA last year, talked to us about her experiences there and future plans.

Welcome Gunner Kennedy!

Last week Dan Lassek introduced us to new member Gunner Kennedy. Gunner Kennedy is originally from Onawa, IA. He is a Iowa State Cyclones and Husker fan and works for Northwestern Mutual. He has been in the financial services business for four years and enjoys Omaha as his home for work and play. Welcome, Gunner!

Presidential Citation

For the 2018-2019 Rotary year only 4 clubs in the District earned the Presidential Citation including Omaha West Rotary who received the citation with Gold Presidential Distinction. Congratulations to Past President Jill Slupe and the entire club for all of your hard work last year!

Family of Rotary
