Last week Tony Veland introduced us to new member Tyrin Ferguson. Tyrin’s interest in commercial real estate (CRE) began in childhood. He grew up around the construction blue collar workers and real estate investors mastering their trades in the city of New Orleans, LA. Tyrin started his career in CRE in 2019, during his final year of collegiate football at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). Tyrin graduated from UNL in 4 years majoring in Communication Studies and Business Administration. Since then, Tyrin has been working full time in the commercial real estate brokerage industry, helping his clients acquire CRE assets as a part of their existing portfolios and sell assets to diversify. Tyrin knew that becoming a broker with Colliers International of Omaha would build a strong foundation to advance his career, building toward his goal of becoming a developer. Tyrin is a partner with a Omaha local investment firm, KL Capital Investments. The group goes out into the marketplace to acquire NNN commercial real estate properties to own and they bring family and friends in to partner alongside the general partners. Tyrin has been awarded with the Tom Osborne Citizenship Award 4 years in a row and was also a leader for the Inner Circle Entrepreneurship Group with Life Skills in the UNL athletic department. Tyrin has also won the President’s circle award for his production at Colliers in 2022. Tyrin is a member of the 42 Club which is a part of Northstar360 Foundation. Tyrin has spent his most valuable resource, time, in pursuing excellence in his community and within himself. Welcome, Tyrin! |
