Last week Dwayne Brown introduced us to new member Veronica Keubler.  

Veronica has been working at Heartland Family Service going on 3 years as a Development Manager.  She facilitates their largest fundraiser -the Carnival of Love Gala.

Prior to that, she was a manager for Hobby Lobby for 13 years.

Veronica has dabbled in politics as a Civil Service Commissioner, a City Council Member, and served as Mayor pro tem for a town in Washington.  Her hobbies are photography, gardening, and party planning.

Veronica is super excited to be a part of a Rotary that has their hands in so many ways to help the community. Welcome, Veronica! 

Last week Dwayne Brown introduced us to new member Angela Markham.   Angela Markham is the newest owner of Omaha's Set The Stage location--your premier source for home staging and furnishing solutions--specializing in curating tailored staging and furnishing packages that not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of your home but also elevate its functionality.

 

Angela's diverse background includes a Bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, with an emphasis in graphic design, as well as key roles in marketing that led to starting her own online marketing agency in 2021. She is a wife, mom of 3 little kids (plus one giant fur-baby), and lover of Christ who loves to learn. She loves meeting new people and being an active contributor to her community here in Omaha. Welcome, Angela!

We are serving meals with the Salvation Army beginning on May 31st and continuing through the summer on Wednesdays. 2 people are needed each Wednesday beginning May 31st from 9:30 to 2:30. Meeting place is the Salvation Army Center on Burt.

Members of the Community  Service Committee will be collecting funds to "Stuff the Backpack" for needs for Skinner Magnet School the first 3 Fridays of August. You can donate online HERE.
