Omaha West Rotary Club Secretary Report for September 28, 2018:
This past Friday, we had several guests! We may have set a record for a visiting Rotarian furthest from their home club - Ron Bailey, who came all the way from Maaseik Belgium. Additionally, we had several visitors including, Warren Whitted Jr, who was a guest of his father. Kim Kuhle brought Blake Martin. Dwayne Brown brought is youngest, favorite daughter, Maryssa. And Brad Rohrig invited Jerry Judd.
We had several red badge members in attendance. We also had our club board members stand to be recognized.
All Donations for the following good news were put in the Bloom Companion Care Lock Box: Susan Rohrig survived the Michigan game in Ann Arbor. Ken Thomason’s son just closed on a house. Kim Kuhle brought several Sci-Fi books for the book collection. Mark Ellsworth recently became a Life Member of the Iowa Society of CPA’s.
Nick closed with a joke and wished everyone a good weekend.
Maryssa Brown works as a Baker at Eilleen's Cookies. Maryssa is proposed by her father Dwayne Brown. She will definitely bring down the age average of our club, which is a welcome development. Any objections to this proposal must be in writing to the Board of Directors at boardofdirectors@omahawestrotary.org by October 6th.

Tickets to the event will be available in the next week, and can be purchased online using our secure payment system here.
