Last Week at Rotary

Last week Carl Greiner gave the invocation. Kari Ketcham and Laura Thomas served as Greeters. Maryssa Brown served as Sgt. at Arms and Tim Neal served as cashier. We had several announcements and presentations. We heard a vocational from Deirdre Milobar.

District Governor Mick McKinley presented President Martie Cordaro the 18/19 District Awards for the Club including: best Community Service Project for the Little Libraries, #9 Club in the District (based on points), and Outstanding Large Club for 18/19. Congratulations Past President Jill Slupe and the entire West Club. We also heard from DG Mick McKinley on his vision for the 19/20 Rotary year.

Blue Badge

Congratulations to Carl Greiner who received his blue badge last week!

Family of Rotary

Join us for our next Family of Rotary event at Gretchen's house on Saturday, August 10th 4-7 pm. Cost is $10 pp (kids are free). Food, drinks, and boating!

LAST WEEK to register for the Metro Luncheon

The city-wide Rotary Metro Luncheon will be on Thursday, August 15th at 11:30 am at Anthony's Steakhouse (72nd and F). Rotarians and guests are welcome. Seating is limited so by your tickets soon at Friday's meeting on online by CLICKING HERE.

We will not meet on August 16th to encourage attendance.

We are only a couple of weeks away from our annual golf fundraiser. We are still in need of sponsors and you can be recognized like Slate Architecture- our bronze sponsor! We also need folks to golf. How can you get involved?

$500 per foursome $125 per individual.

$15 for buffet dinner

Volunteers will be at the meetings to pass out raffle tickets and sign up sponsors and golfers. Proceeds from this event go to our Foundation to support our community and global projects. Thank you for your support!

We will be producing a new printed roster this fall. Consider advertising with us and supporting the cost of printing. We will be passing around a roster to update information or you can email your update to Jennifer. Please contact Matt McKeever or Jennifer for more information or to place an ad.
