This week's Rotarian is Rebecca Miller, our Secretary Occupation: Owner and Managing Director of Fixlexia, a dyslexia clinic Membership: Since December 2017 Why she's a Rotarian: I believe in the mission of Service Above Self. I also enjoy being and working with other professionals committed to doing great work in the community. Spouse: Mark Miller Hobbies: I am a curious person. Therefore my hobbies can change on a whim. Currently, I am learning how to bake a great loaf of bread and researching how to obtain dual citizenship from my mother's native country, Latvia. Beach or Mountains? : I enjoy both, but if I have to pick, it would be BEACHES. Favorite Vacation spot: I don't have a favorite spot; I enjoy traveling to any place new or different. Favorite Ice Cream: Tiramisu from Ted and Wally's Bucket-list: A one-year trip (or even a few months) traveling worldwide and staying with Rotarians from various countries to save money to afford the flights- ha ha. Something you wouldn't know about me: During my sophomore year of college, I wrote a letter to the head of Marketing for Revlon and asked to be a part of their summer intern program. I was accepted and moved to NYC on my own. The internship was a fantastic experience that included meeting Ralph Lauren. |
