Last Week at Rotary
Last week, President Jill Slupe presided along with substitute Secretary Manny Paz.  Laura Iliff gave the Invocation and John Morey served as Cashier.  Don Otis was Sgt. at Arms.  Carl Greiner and Bob Kardell served as Greeters.   Bob Kully introduced Dr. Jeffrey Gold who talked about the challenges in public health and the work being done at UNMC and UNO.

Omaha West Rotary Club Secretary Report for April 26, 2019: 

Manny Paz filled in for me last week.  Thank you Manny! 

This past Friday, Mark Taylor visited from Suburban and Mel Stuart visited from Northwest.  We also had several guests including John Kugler, who was brought by Butch Ethington.  Ken Thomason invited Ben Navarro.  Starla Waite invited Carri Lyons.  Susan Thomas invited her husband, Steve Hutchinson.  Other guests included Anne Bowen, Omar Lorea, Dan Shipp, Makayla McManis, and Rick Boldt. 

For good news, Lori Benton attended Holland Hero’s Award Ceremony where Laura Iliff received an award.  Bob Runyon met with Bob Fell who is undergoing immune therapy and is doing much better!
