Welcome Drew Gay!
Last week Jill Thomas introduced us to new member Drew Gay.

Drew is a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer and practice lead for EV Charging and Solar Photovoltaic design at Leo A Daly. Through his work at Leo A Daly, Drew strives to design high performance buildings that can enhance the human experience through the built environment.

Originally from Columbus, NE, he graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in December of 2016 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and again in May of 2021 with a Master’s in Engineering Management. Post graduation, Drew spent a short stint in Madison, WI and Lincoln, NE before settling down in Omaha, NE.

Drew married his wife Natalie, who is a nurse at Midwest Gastrointestinal Associates, last June. They live in their home in Rockbrook along with their golden retriever Molly and their cat Ollie. In his spare time, Drew enjoys being outdoors doing activities such as hunting and golfing depending on the season.

Pitch Contest
On June 8th we are sponsoring the 2nd Annual Pitch Competition at the 3rd annual Minority Small Business Summit hosted by the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) and Omaha Chamber of Commerce REACH Program. For the second year our club has committed $18,000 in prize money to help these existing businesses level up and grow.

We are looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of roles including application evaluators, practice judges at a pitch practice session, volunteers at the summit and competition, and hosts for the business owners visiting our club.
