Last Week at Rotary
Last week,  President Jill Slupe and Nick Rosenberry presided over the meeting. Rebecca Miller gave the Invocation and  John Morey served as Cashier.  Carl Philo was Sgt. at Arms.  Lori Benton served as greeter.  We had several announcements.  Bob Kully introduced Erin Owen and Dr. Samuel Meisels who talked about the early-intervention work the Buffet Institute is doing.
Secretary Nick Rosenberry Report

This past Friday, we had several visiting Rotarians including Phil Schrier and Tom Corrall from Omaha NW.  And Mark Taylor from Suburban. We also had one guest.  Bonnie Gill brought Deidre Milobar.

For good news, Starla Waite’s granddaughter turned one.  Gretchen Radler’s youngest daughter was in town visiting.  Mark Ellsworth was a recent volunteer for the flood relief telethon.  They raised over $100,000!  Bob Lovgren’s grandson became a member of the Vail ski team…and he is only 10 years old.  And finally, Bonnie Gill’s grandson graduated at the top of his class and got a 34 on his ACT.

Nick ended with a joke and wished everyone a good week.

to Dwayne Brown who completed the Rotary Leadership Institute course this weekend!
Lincoln Group
Several Rotarians enjoyed a fun evening at the Joslyn as part of the Lincoln group meetings. Thank you to Kim Kuhle and Matt McKeever for organizing!
Join the West Rotary Task Force!
Please consider being part of the Omaha West Rotary Task Force meeting on April 24th at Champions Run from 12-1 to look into the future and brainstorm about future projects the club can  develop and execute to make Omaha a better place.  The Board would like this Task Force to identify projects, needs, volunteers and resources.  We want your ideas, passions, and support.  Cost is $16 for lunch.  Please click HERE to register.
