District Conference

The 2025-2026 Rotary District 5650 Fall Conference is happening soon!

October 17-18th at the Scott Conference Center.

Police, Firefighter, and Sheriff of the year!

Last Friday the Omaha West Rotary Club honored a Police, Fire, and Sheriff of the year!

HUGE shout out to the Special Events Committee for doing an amazing job!

The videos of each honoree was an excellent addition, thank you Spencer Head and Dave Roberts.

Bob Fell did an awesome job organizing the dessert of cookies with the 3 different badges.

Kathy Wawers managed the plaques for all three departments.

John Morey, Warren Whitted III, and Chris Krueger led the entire room in a sing-along of "America the Beautiful"!

Thank you to Bob Gerseny for pulling the event together as the commentator!

Helping a fellow Rotarian

Carl Philo, a longtime member of West Omaha Rotary, no longer drives and would appreciate a ride to the Friday meeting when it's convenient.

Extension Meeting

The LAST Extension Meeting at 30Hop this year!

Beginning in October we will be returning to Biaggis as the cooler fall temps set in, so please join us for the at 30Hop Sept 23rd at 5:30pm!

Red badgers please feel free to show up and get your blue badge requirements out of the way! This includes greeting, invocation, and your vocational. There are also a few new service project opportunities to be discussed as well.

Stuff the Backpack with Cash

The Community Service committee would like to thank everyone who donated!

Kathy Wawers is working with a social worker at Skinner Elementary who has helped determine the needs of the students this year!

Your generous donation and the matching grant from the Foundation is going toward purchasing coats and shoes for the kids at Skinner.

Chris Walker has a vendor for coats that is helping in ordering Sport-Tek Waterproof Youth Insulated Jackets.
