Secretary Nick Rosenberry Report

Omaha West Rotary Club Secretary Report for December 21, 2018:

This past Friday, we had several visitors and guests! Tom Cardwell visited from Lincoln South. John Marburger joined us from Omaha Downtown. And David Gerald from Omaha Suburban brought his piano skills! For guests, Martie Cordaro brought his son Gavin. Bonnie Gill brought her friend Deirdre Milobar. Ben Kratz was joined by his wife Amy. Deb Sepich brought her husband Gordan. Carl Greiner brought his wife Belinda. Maryssa Brown brought her grandmother Vernitta. Michelle Schrage was joined by Patti Brannon. Larry McChesney brought his wife Carol. Nick Rosenberry was joined by his wife Carrie and youngest daughter, Margot. Brett Wawers brought his wife Kathy. Rebecca Miller brought her husband Mark. Rod Anderson was joined by his wife, Marlee. And Finally, Kim Kuhle brought Fred Schwesor. It was great to have so many guests!

For good news, Starla’s second cousin, Josh Wegner, just signed to play football at Nebraska. Tim Neal is about to start a new career with the Red Cross. Kim Kuhle just had an article published on the American Reinvestment Act. Lori Benton and Deb Neary have brought on several new mentoring partners for Partners 4 Kids. Brett Wawers reported that due to everyone’s generosity we raised nearly $1,000 from the Mitten Tree. Much of the proceeds will go to a Skinner family whose house recently burned down.

My daughter, Margot, closed by singing God Bless America. Proud Dad!
