Omaha West Rotary Club Secretary Report for January 25, 2019:
This past Friday, we had several guests! Jill Slupe invited Elizabeth Kish and Kevin Loberg. Susan Thomas brought her husband Steve Hutchinson. Skinner Elementary Principal Tarina Cox-Jones was present. John Philo brought Tony Schultz (who is now a new member!). Kendall Sheer brought Bob Kardell (who is also now a new member!). Kim Kuhle brought Brent Crampton and Juan Sandavol. Matt McKeever invited Emily Nitcher from the Omaha World Herald. Luke McNeese was joined by Ryan Pickett. Ben Kratz brought Mark Edwards. And Deb Neary invited Yesivia Valenzuele, Susan Maybeyn, Marisa Casillas and Ann Meysenburg. Brett Wawers invited members of the Future Business Leaders of America from Skutt Catholic High School.
For good news Bob Lovren’s wife recently had a successful hip replacement. Tara Bowne and her husband are expecting a baby girl! Carl Greiner’s daughter Alison was just promoted. And Bob Kully announced that author Joe Starita (Warrior of the People) will be speaking to our club in March.
