As of November 29th
Kent had a second surgery since my update last week. Juli Templien said that Kent developed a hematoma in his spine which caused his rapid decline and paralysis in rehab. The surgeons were able to remove the hematoma which relieved the pressure on his spinal cord. It was a setback, but he is doing amazingly well and is now moving his arms and legs again. Kent will be moving to Madonna Rehab in Lincoln in the next couple days. Once there, he should be able to see visitors at night or on the weekends. Kent would like to thank you for your continued prayers, the cards you sent and emails, as they are very encouraging and uplifting.

Hope you are having a great Thanksgiving Day celebration with family and friends. I wanted to update you about Kent Templien. Kent was moved back to the ICU in Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, after spending just 48 hours in in-patient Rehab at CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha. Juli Templien said that Kent needed to be under his neurosurgeon's care as he was weaker than he was when he left the ICU on Monday. At this time visitation is restricted. I will keep you updated as soon as I receive more information.
