61st Annual Senior Recognition Day - April 28, 2017
The Omaha West Rotary Club will honor twenty-five Outstanding Seniors from twenty-five area high schools on Friday April 28, 2017 at Champions Run, 13800 Eagle Run Drive.  Check-in opens at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at approximately 11:45 a.m. Reservations are needed for this luncheon. Cost is $20. Members can sign-up at the noon Rotary meetings or email a reservation to Vickie Backman vbackman@cox.net .  
 
 
 
 
 
Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, Chancellor of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, will be the Keynote Speaker.  The Senior Recognition Day Committee has selected Priya Kukreja, Millard North High School, as the student speaker from among the seniors representing the area schools. Members and guests are invited to attend this luncheon, but we do need a reservation by Friday, April 21st.

The Website and Public Relations Committee has asked members to submit ideas you may have for the design of a new club banner.  Please submit your ideas to Matt McKeever msmckeever@greatadvocates.com or the Rotary office. The committee will review banner design suggestions.

  • Your talk should be no longer than 2-3 minutes in length and preferably 2 minutes. 
  • Inform members where you work and the nature of the business. The following are suggestions only as ideas for your talk - innovations or technology affecting the business; products or services offered; your customer/client base; how you selected your vocation.
  • Very brief personal/family background.
